  1. New to the GMAT Exam? Here's Everything You Need to Know The Graduate Management Admission Test, aka GMAT exam, is an important part of the career of a graduate. It is a multiple-choice, computer- adaptive test that is often required for getting admission into MBA programs worldwide. The GMAC, Graduate Management Admission Council, is the apex body that is responsible for developing and administering the renowned test. The purpose of taking the GMAT exam is to find out the preparedness of a candidate to overcome the academic work that they have to face.
