  3. SLOVENIA WAS THE THIRTEENTH LARGEST EXPORT DESTINATION WITHIN THE EU IN 2018 • The EU is Pakistan’s largest export market representing 34% of exports • Slovenia accounted for 0.8% of total EU exports from Pakistan in 2018.

WITHIN THE EU, SLOVENIA WAS THE 24TH HIGHEST EXPORTER TO PAKISTAN IN 2018 • EU is Pakistan’s 3rd largest import partner after China and UAE. • Imports from the EU stood at $5.46 billion in 2018. • Slovenia accounts for 0.08% of Pakistan’s imports from the EU and 0.007% of total imports from the world.

PAKISTAN SLOVENIA TradeTrends • Bilateral trade increased from US$ 53.07 Mn in 2014 to US$ 66.8 Mn in 2018 i.e. by 25.9% in five years • Pakistan’s exports to Slovenia rose by 19.8% during this period. • Meanwhile, Slovenia’s exports to Pakistan increased by 47.2%during these five years. • The trade surplus has increased during the last five years, from $47.4 Mn in 2014 to around $58.4 Mn in 2018.
