L&F Hosting Program • Students visit 3-4 weeks in June and July • Students sign up for an IMMERSION experience - the best way to improve their English and get an inside look at life in America • Students do what your family does - baseball games, errands, family events, whatever your summer plans may be

L&F Hosting Program Program Support • Host Family Preparation meeting held before group arrival • Host Family Guidebook provides helpful hints on activities & cultural differences • Chaperone accompanies group & checks in with students weekly • L&F staff or local language teacher contacts families weekly during visit • Staff available 24/7 to answer questions or help with any issues

  7. L&F Hosting Program How to become a Host Family: 1. Complete an application 2. Provide 2 references 3. Home visit by local teacher or L&F staff 4. Family gives top 3 choices of students who would best fit into family 5. Match is made & correspondence begins!!
