  2. January 3, 2020 Moses is raised in household of Pharaoh. • Moses escapes the slaughter of Hebrew boys and is adopted by Pharaoh’s daughter. • After killing an Egyptian soldier, Moses, 40, flees to Midian.

  3. January 3, 2020 Moses is raised in household of Pharaoh. • In Midian, Moses marries Zipporah, the daughter of Jethro, priest of Midian.

  4. January 3, 2020 2. God appears to Moses at the age of 80 in the form of a burning bush. • God reveals His name as ‘IAMWHOAM.’ • God reveals Himself as the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

In summary, we have seen in Exodus 1-15 that: • Despite reluctance, Moses answered God’s call to lead Israel out of Egypt. • By the blood and flesh of the lamb, the Israelites survived the 10th plague. • In order to be liberated from Egypt, the Israelites passed through water.

The characteristics of God’s covenant with Noah are: • Mediator (the person as the representative of God’s covenant): Moses. • Form (the size of the covenant): Nation. • Sign (the action or symbol of the covenant): Passover.

What kind of a risk does God take with us when He gives us free will? Why would he allow us to disobey Him? What could comes from us having the freedom to love Him or reject Him? • Describe a time in your life when trusting God brought you through a difficult situation.
