  2. Copy this title – “DESCRIBING MY EYES” Copy the following phrases into your books in Spanish and English TENGO LOS OJOS AZULES = I HAVE BLUE EYES TENGO LOS OJOS MARRONES = I HAVE BROWN EYES TENGO LOS OJOS VERDES = I HAVE GREEN EYES TENGO LOS OJOS CASTAÑOS = I HAVE HAZEL EYES

Copy this title – “DESCRIBING MY HAIR” Copy the following phrases into your books in Spanish and English TENGO EL PELO RUBIO = I HAVE BLOND HAIR TENGO EL PELO MARRÓN = I HAVE BROWN HAIR TENGO EL PELO NEGRO = I HAVE BLACK HAIR TENGO EL PELO PELIRROJO = I HAVE GINGER HAIR TENGO EL PELO CASTAÑO = I HAVE CHESTNUT HAIR

  4. Copy the following phrases into your books in Spanish and English TENGO EL PELO LARGO= I HAVE LONG HAIR TENGO EL PELO CORTO= I HAVE SHORT HAIR TENGO EL PELO DE MEDIO CORTO= I HAVE MEDIUM LENGTH HAIR

  5. THERE IS ANOTHER WAY TO DESCRIBE YOUR HAIR AND EYES IN SPANISH. COPY THESE 2 EXAMPLES AS WELL… MIS OJOS SON AZULES = MY EYES ARE BLUE MI PELO ES RUBIO = MY HAIR IS BLONDE

  6. DID YOU NOTICE ANYTHING UNUSUAL ABOUT THE COLOUR WORDS IN SPANISH WHEN DESCRIBING EYES? LOOK AGAIN AT THESE TWO EXAMPLES… TENGO LOS OJOS AZULES = I HAVE BLUE EYES THE COLOUR ALSO HAS AN “S”! THIS IS BECAUSE THE COLOUR WORD IS BEING USED TO DESCRIBE EYES MORE THAN ONE OF SOMETHING IS KNOWN AS “PLURAL”. ADDING THIS EXTRA “S” WHEN DESCRIBING SOMETHING THAT IS PLURAL IS KNOWN AS “AGREEMENT”. MAKING SURE YOU GET THE “AGREEMENTS” CORRECT WILL HELP YOU REACH LEVEL 3.

  7. When DESCRIBING YOURSELF, THE WORDS FOR EYE COLOUR, HAIR COLOURS AND STYLES CAN BE COMBINED IN ONE SENTENCE. COPY THIS EXAMPLE… TENGO LOS OJOS VERDES Y EL PELO MARRÓN Y CORTO = I HAVE GREEN EYES AND SHORT, BROWN HAIR.

  8. *COMPLETE THE SENTENCES WITH THE RIGHT ADJECTIVE TO DESCRIBE EYES AND HAIR- Look at the example 1.Tengo el pelonegro y largo Tengo el pelo largo y ……. 2.Tengo el ….. largo y rubio

  11. EXERCISE 2: YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE YOUR OWN POWERPOINT PRESENTATION… FIND PICTURES OF YOUR FAVOURITE CELEBRITIES. PASTE THEM INTO A SLIDE OR SLIDES. THEN WRITE IN SPANISH WHAT THEY WOULD SAY TO DESCRIBE THEIR HAIR AND EYES. REMEMBER THE “AGREEMENTS” FOR LEVEL 3!! HERE IS AN EXAMPLE… Me llamo Earl. Tengo los ojosmarrones y el pelo negro y corto. LEVEL 3!!!
