  2. 1st Video Conference • Video conference with two US Schools • Students introduced their schools and communities • Students shared their findings from the videos they reviewed • Extra testing was needed because of connectivity challenges • Weather created planning and execution challenges • Kids were delighted to be connected in spite of it all!

  3. 2nd Videoconference – International • PA schools videoconference with a school from Mexico or Portugal • All schools create “culture quilts” • Our school • Our classroom • Our favorite hobbies • Our favorite foods or Where we live • Sharing of culture quilts across the schools • Sharing of either a video or activity for the other schools, for example, singing school song

  4. 3rd Videoconference • Videoconference with Elementary Schools from U.S. • Reflecting on International VC • What have they learned about other countries and kids? • Participating U.S. Schools share their individual projects • Discuss positives of videoconferencing (collaborations) • Reflect on whole experience
