Success Story Name: Jerry Turcotte Wanted for: Conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance and participation with a money laundering and drug smuggling organization Details:Turcotte was apprehended in Lima, Peru May 7, 2008 where he was held awaiting a hearing regarding his extradition to the United States to face federal drug trafficking charges (Cont…)

  10. Success Story Details: On September 22, 2008 Turcotte was able to escape from the jail in Lima. He remained a fugitive for over a year. Arrested:On November 4, 2009 Turcotte was detained at the Boryspil International Airport in the Ukraine after attempting to board a plane destined for Rome through presenting the passport of Jean Luclenoir, a French national and Turcotte’s alias.

Success Story NAME: Isaac Barrott Valdez WANTED FOR: Conspiracy to commit money laundering DETAILS: Valdez arranged for millions of dollars in drug proceeds to be transported from cities in the United States to Mexico, to be converted into Mexican currency and distributed to various drug-trafficking organizations. On August 10, 2005, a Red Notice was issued for DEA fugitive Valdez to all INTERPOL member countries. ARRESTED ON: March 18th, 2010 in Spain at the Madrid-Barajas Airport based on the Red Notice. He is currently awaiting extradition back to the United States.

Success Story Name: John Edward Hamilton Wanted for: Sexual offenses against children Arrest: On 25 August, 2010, Hamilton was arrested by Polish authorities after receiving verification that there was an active arrest warrant issued by the United States Marshals Service (USMS) and the Fairfax County Virginia Police Department, from INTERPOL Washington.
