The Centre is based around an old Georgian House • We are one field away from the River Conwy • We were the first Eco-centre in Wales, so are keen to be as sustainable as possible The Centre • We work with A-level, GCSE, Key Stage 2 & 3 groups, as well as adult learners and universities. • We also run a number of community based projects.

  6. Fire safety Also the Centre is a no smoking area (and no alcohol is alllowed on site) • Our fire alarm can be set of by accident when using: • deodorants • hair straighteners • We ask all our guests not to use these items while at the centre

  7. Be prepared for all weathers. Bring lots of warm clothes and sun cream! (a full kit list is available on our webpage) Please follow the instructions your staff and centre staff give you to ensure you stay safe in hazardous environments!   8. Our Daily Routine 8:00- Breakfast (and Make packed lunch for the day) 9:00- Small Shop opens 9:15- Meet ready for... Outdoor sessions (Then afternoon cakes!) 18:00- Dinner 19:00- Evening session 23:00- Whole Centre Quiet

  9. I’m Magda, one of the dining room staff. Just let us know if you have any special dietary needs. Food Breakfast & dinner, served in the dining room There’s a choice of dishes, all on the blackboard

  10. Our bedrooms are all different sizes, as we are based in such an old building. Don’t forget sheets and a towel.

  11. I’m Matt, one of the centre tutors. I’m looking forward to your visit. Just be prepared for any weather and to have some fun!

  12. There are a number of places to relax in free time and indoor and outdoor games are also available Games Room Common Room

  13. Conservatory A place where you can always get hot and cold drinks

  14. We have a drying room for wet and muddy kit. • You will need: • Waterproofs • Wellies • Walking boots • These can be hired from the centre

  15. Recycling At the centre we try to be as sustainable as possible, and we ask all our guests to do what they can to help us reduce our impact on the environment. Composting Fairtrade
