  3. The Harvest is Perplexed Message Thesis: When we have a harvest mentality, we will see the condition of the harvest. Message Objective: We must see the harvest through the eyes of Jesus.

  4. Perplex: • To confuse or trouble with uncertainty or doubt. To puzzle. 2. To make confusedly intricate; to complicate.

  5. The Harvest is perplexed because of: • False saints: Matthew 13:24-30 • False prophets: Matthew 7:15 • False hopes: Jeremiah 17:5

  6. The Harvest is perplexed because of: • False saints: Matthew 13:24-30 “But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.”

  7. The Harvest is perplexed because of: • False prophets: Matthew 7:15 “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.”

  8. The Harvest is perplexed because of: • False hopes: Jeremiah 17:5 “Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord.”

  9. We each need a God Encounter! The encounter leads to being the elect! Matthew 24:24 “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”
