Stay Healthy, Safe and Secure Use your membership when you are outside your home country if you have: • Medical Question or Concern • Medical Emergency • Safety Concern • Security Emergency • Travel Assistance • “I’m ill, should I see a doctor? Where should I go? • “I’ve had a heart attack!” • “Is it safe to venture outside my hotel for coffee?” • “There are rioters outside my hotel!” • “I’ve been pick-pocketed.” When you need help, International SOS is there for you.

Prepare yourself before traveling • Access accurate, real-time information • Go to the International Travel Safety & Security page of the Global Brown website • Then click: International SOS • Resources available • Country guides • Online reports • E-mail alerts • Call the assistance center for pre-travel information. • Register your travel plans via TravelSafe. Brown faculty, staff, and students who register in TravelSafe will have their Brown sponsored travel automatically registered with International SOS

How to Reach International SOS Call us anytime, anywhere at any of our Assistance Centers around the world • Member Tips: • Refer to your membership card for important contact information • You can call us collect, if necessary. • Download the Mobile Assistance App and add International SOS to your mobile phone contact list along with your membership number: 11BSGC000031

  7. Stay healthy while abroad • Contact us, when you: • Seek health and safety advice – at any time • Need a referral or help with doctor, mental health provider, or hospital appointments • Require supplies of medication or equipment • Need travel advice

  8. Helping you in an emergency • If the “unthinkable” happens, call us to: • Arrange an ambulance • Arrange to guarantee medical fees on your behalf • Monitor your condition and advise • Evacuate you to a center of medical excellence • Evacuate you to a safe area • Help with your family • Deal with a fatality
