  1. Telephone System contains the programming parameters that interface the FCM with the phone system. The Customer Info window is where the programmer enters customer information, trading hours, holidays. The Auto Attendant menus window is where the programmer configures the AA and external transfers. The Voicemail boxes window is where the voice mail boxes and the voice mailbox parameters are entered. The On-Hold messages window is where the on-hold messages and parameters are entered. entered.system. The Information messages window is where Information messages are entered. Advanced configuration-programming parameters set passwords, time-outs, volume levels etc.

  2. The Global parameters tab opens the Global parameters window The defined boxes window displays all the available voicemail boxes The options in blue are available to the voicemail box user. The options with a yellow background are changed for the selected voicemail box only

  3. This option allows the programmer to enter a voicemail box password or disable the password. The defined boxes window displays all the available voicemail box extension numbers. This option selects the default voicemail-greeting message. (One of Five) These options turn on the external voicemail notification and trunk to trunk transfer from a voicemail box-greeting message.

  4. The Global parameters tab opens the Global parameters window The Extensions window displays the range of extensions in the highlighted voicemail box. This option is used to generate new voicemail boxes. The options backed by yellow are described in detail in the global parameters section.

  5. Cancel voicemail: Closes the auto attendant menu editor window and returns to the main screen. Save all to machine:This option saves all the data from the auto attendant editor window to the machine Load from machine: This option loads the selected auto attendant menu from the machine. Save to machine: This option saves the selected auto attendant menu from the auto attendant editor window to the machine Load all from machine: This option loads all the data from the machine contained in the auto attendant editor window. Exit voicemail: Closes the auto attendant menu editor window prompts you to save and returns to the main screen.

  6. Internal notification: Set up the internal voicemail notification options. Unknown voicemail: Sets the default option for an extension forwarded to voicemail when no voicemail box has been allocated menus. Voicemail menus: Allows the programmer to change the voicemail retrieval and options Voicemail encoding: Allows the selection of three different audio compression algorithms. Notifications: Set up the notification parameters and ports.

Voicemail messages: Set the minimum and maximum voicemail message length and the maximum number of messages per voicemail box During greeting options: Allows the selection of digits to enable transfers during the voicemail-greeting message. Purge messages: This is used to activate and set the purge options. Extension groups: This option allows the setting up of extension groups to enable group extension transfers. Time stamp: Voicemail time and date indication options. External notification: External notification options.
