  1. Padres Baseball EERYTHING you wanted to know about padres baseball! BY: Isaac Baldwin

  2. PADRES • The padres are important to me because mydad and I have loved the padres since I was little. I have said play ball in the opening game ceremony and my mom has sang the national anthem for the padres and Sara Palin but that’s beside the point. • I chose the padres baseball team as my power point because first of all I love base ball secondi love watching it on TV and it is very special to me.

  3. Padres history • The San Diego Padres are a Major League Baseball team in San Diego. They play in the National League Western Division. Founded in 1969, the Padres have won the National League Pennant twice, in 1984 and 1998, losing in the World Series both times. They and the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim are the only MLB California teams to originate in California; the Dodgers and Giants are originally from New York, and the Athletics are originally from Philadelphia.

  4. Padres history • As of June 1, 2012, and barring any potential further expansion of Major League Baseball, the Padres are the only team in MLB to never record a no-hitter (the New York Mets, who were the only other team entering 2012 to have no no-hitters, saw their first no-hitter in team history on that date when Johan Santana recorded the feat). They are also one of two teams, along with the Miami Marlins, in Major League Baseball history to never have a player hit for the cycle.

  5. Famous players on the padres • Gaylord Perry: Only one or pitcher to win the NL CY young award or the honor award. • Randy Jones: becomes the Padres' first 20-game winner with a 6-5 win over Los Angeles on Sept. 25 • Willie McCovey: homers for San Francisco's only hit in a 2-1 Padres victory. • Ray Kroc dies so Mrs. Joan Kroc: and she was very successful next thing you know in 1984 the padres were the NL or national league champs • Trevor Hoffman: has 38 saves, his Major League-record eighth straight year with 30-plus saves, and notches his 350th as a Padre, the most by a big league closer for one

  6. MORE FAMOUSE BASEBALL PLAYERS • Ryan Klesco: Ryan Klesko hits .300, with 29 home runs and 95 RBIs, and reaches base safely in 56 games, April 9-June 14. • Tony Gwynn: win the club title batting average at .394 the highest in the major league since ted Williams had a .406 in 1941.

  7. Present time Padres • We have a lot of good padres in present time or we used too. We use to have Trevor hoffman he was so good we were saved by the bell some time, the reason why I say that is because when ever Trevor hoffman would pitch there would be bells that ring BONG, BONG, BONG. Also we have some one named Ryan Klesco his batting average was .300. or even the coach Bruce botchy great coach Bruce Bochy was named manager, replacing Jim Riggleman. Those were and are some famous padres

  8. The way I see it • The padres got accepted in 1968 and are still a team in 2012 and are almost in 4th place. • Padres are a very good team from 1968 to 2012 they may have lost a lot but they will never give up

  9. Epic rules/guidelines in baseball • There is an offense an a defense the offense is trying to hit the ball and run from 1st to home • The defense is trying to prevent that.

  10. ONCE upon a time • There was a guy name babe Ruth and he hit a lot of home runs but one day a zombie apocalypse happened and while babe Ruth was being eaten there was no more baseball ever. The end.
