  2. RATIONALE Despite the growing attention on the use of computer technologies in education, its actual use in the classroom has not grown to the extent that many have predicted. This may be attributed to many reasons; one of those was lack of equipment. This lack of equipment, however, that seems to stand out as a major impediment. Many teachers have shown that it is possible to accomplish great things with access to even a single computer in the multi grade classroom. Thus this innovation was introduced to this remote barangay elementary school (Buan). Teaching the Net Generation: Curriculum, Pedagogy and the Challenge of 21st Century Learning

Conclusions and Recommendations • reduced absenteeism and drop outs • improved class participation and developed confident among themselves • teachers developed interest and start to innovate in teaching and learning in their classroom. • life skills development while learning the content of language, numbers and scientific principles. • It is highly recommended that ICT4E or ICT for education should be integrated in the elementary school system especially in grades 5 and 6 • It is further recommended that education planning should always be based on the need of the learners, community, environment and knowledge driven economy.
