  2. Can you eat healthy in College? You don’t have to eat like this. It’s easy to find this.

  3. The answer is simple • Yes you can. • Take time in your decisions. • Plan out what you will be eating in advance. • Stay away from the greasy foods.

  4. How to choose • Start with the food in your dorm • Make sure snacks are nutritious • Keep sugary snacks at minimum Bad Good

  5. Little minerals and vitamins • Make sure that you are able to have foods that are full of vitamins and minerals. • The more nutrient packed the better while in college • Thin crust cheese pizza is very nutrient dense and always on campus

  6. Some choices at Rowan

  7. More Rowan choices • Go for the hoagies and wraps over the fried and grilled choices • Choose a bean burrito with no sour cream over one with all the fixings

  8. Keep in your room • A mini fridge can be great • Also keep foods that won’t go bad for awhile • Have foods that are quick to make

  9. Some good foods to keep • Peanut butter and jelly • Granola bars • Canned fruits and vegetables • Tuna fish

  10. Make sure to keep extra vitamins and minerals. • They could really help if you are deficient • Make sure not to use as a meal replacement • Be Careful • Also make sure you don’t take too many

  11. Rules to know • Learn portion size • Do not eat the same meal all the time • Make sure to eat breakfast Get all three meals through out the day

  12. Limit the alcohol consumption Always have water around Try to stay away from the sugary and caffeinated beverages

  13. How to get this done • Have a friend try to be healthy with you • Do not be stressed out if you can’t always eat right • Make sure you give yourself plenty of time to eat Lets eat healthy today Sounds good man

  14. Exercise • Make sure you exercise daily • This should be 30 min – 1 hr a day • Aerobic and anaerobic is the best to stay healthy

  15. Not just at the gym • Intramural sports • Joining fitness classes • Join a group that does outdoor activities • Start your own pickup games

  16. Tips to fitting in exercise • 30 min – 1 hr can be spread through out the day • Every two hours do an exercise for ten minutes • Choose short exercises Go for a walk Do jumping jacks Push ups Shoot around a ball

  17. Be stress free • Stress can ruin everything • If you are stress free • You get better sleep • You will tend to eat better • You will want to exercise more • You will be happy more often

  18. Random tips to make life better • Ride your bike to where you need to go • Make sure you make new friendships in college • Manage your time efficiently • Stay flu free as best as possible • Try to avoid pulling all nighters

  20. Remeber • Keep happy to be healthy • Do not stress yourself out • Eat as well as possible • Exercise so you will feel better
