  2. gLite releases (SL4) WMS update showed problems in production after 2 weeks of load • Workaround is available (thanks to Maarten Litmaath) • Shows the necessity of early life support/managed rollout • Patch 2597 “In Certification” – claims to fix most of the problems Updated VDT 1.6 with gridFTP2 support FTS fix for invalid delegated proxy certificates Latest update this week (minor fixes) SCAS/glexec is certified • Currently in PPS • Pilots: IN2P3, FZK, NIKHEF The updated gLite release process - A.   3. gLite 3.2/SL5 WN released 23. 03. 09 • Didn’t receive any complaints so far (but not yet installed widely) • We know that lcg-ManageVOTag and lcg-tag don’t work. Fixes already provided; patches in “Ready for Certification” LCG AA area for SL5 • New scripts to also update on SL5 are currently being tested SL5 UI • Pre-certification testing during the past 2 weeks • Found some issues • Received fix for last blocker (wms-ui) yesterday • Patch can go to certification now • If no problems occur it can be released to production end of April The updated gLite release process - A.   4. DPM and LFC • SL5 release tag provided by developers this week • DPM and LFC can now be released independently (thanks to AkosFrohner) • Needs an updated VDT rpm (globusgsi threading bug). Provided by VDT this week • We can now construct the SL5 node types • Release to production: starting first half of May FTS/FTA/FTM • Release tag not yet received • Needs an updated gLite trustmanager (not yet available) The updated gLite release process - A.   5. CREAM • Builds on SL5 • Not yet being worked on; needs also updated trustmanager BDII • Should be easy as the rpms are noarch • SL5 specific issue has been found, new rpm received yesterday The updated gLite release process - A. Unterkircher
