Setting Up Your Notebook. Properly setting up your notebook can help you be successful the rest of the year. The first two pieces of paper in your notebook should be used for your Table of Contents. Draw a line down the middle of the front and back of these two pages.

  2. Properly setting up your notebook can help you be successful the rest of the year. The first two pieces of paper in your notebook should be used for your Table of Contents. Draw a line down the middle of the front and back of these two pages. Number the rest of the pages with an odd number on the front of the page, and an even number on the back. Number all the way to the end (pg #136) Each time you use a page, add its title and page # to the table of contents. • 1st piece of paper=TOC • 2nd piece of paper=TOC • 3rd piece of paper front=page 1 • 3rd piece of paper back= page 2 • 4th piece of paper front=page 3 • 4th piece of paper back = page 4 • 5th piece of paper front =page 5 • 5th piece of paper back=page 6 • 6th piece of paper front = page 7 • 6th piece of paper back = page 8 • 7th piece of paper front=page 9 • 7th piece of paper back page 10 • Etc.
