  2. OBJECTIVES • Perform the steps required to prepare the engine for removal. • Remove engine from a FWD or RWD vehicle. • Remove cylinder heads from a in-block or overhead camshaft engine. • Disassemble engine. • Determine proper cleaning method. • Properly use different cleaning methods.

  3. PREPARING the ENGINEfor REMOVAL • Take Pictures of hose and wiring layout. • Use fender covers. • Scribe hood hinges for removal. • Store parts in trunk of vehicle. CBC AUTOMOTIVE RK

  4. WRITE A REMOVAL PROCEDURE • Write a step by step removal procedure. • Including Year, Make, and Model of vehicle you are going to rebuild. • Consult your lab manual, Mitchell Manuals, and Factory Service Manuals. • Due Friday morning 8:00 am. • Also due Friday compression etc. test results.
