  2. HOMES The Gabreilino had different houses. The Gabreilenos houses called Domes. They used willow poles and cordage. They also used tool reeds, and woven mates. The Domes where able to hold four families which is fifty to sixty people. The Domes where also called sweat houses.

  3. FOOD Gabreilenopeople feasted on foods like sword fish shell fish ,sea mammals and sea birds . They also ate nuts and seeds. They crushed the seeds and nuts with a rock. They also gathered pinon nuts and acorns.

  4. JOBS Women made baskets and weaved the mates. They carved pots and bowls. They also painted the pots. For hunting they killed trapped animals. They set up traps to kill birds. Women made clothing out of feathers. Men also organized group huts.

  5. CLOTHING Men and women wore clothes made out of deer skin. Women also wore aprons made out of bark from the willow or cotton wood trees. Men also wore breech cloths.

  6. CEREMONIES There were three kinds of ceremonies. One was when they got there names, and when the remembered the dead also when men went out to defend the Gabreilno. Gabreileno did this all in seven days. During the ceremonies they sang, danced, visited and last but not least they feasted.

  7. INTERESTING FACTS Girls and boys had tattoo from there fore heads to there chins. They also had tattoos from there eyes to there chests. . Girls and women used red paint to protect them from the sun and wind.
