  3. How did Jesus love? • He wept for lost souls • He showed compassion • He reprimanded disciples • He promised them a “kingdom” • He was with them “always” • He united Lazarus with his sisters • He gave His life for friends

  4. How does Jesus love? • Sympathetically– Heb 4:15 • Mercifully, faithfully – Heb 2:16-17 • Compassionately, humbly – Heb 5:1-5 • Genuinely– John 10:11-13 • Actively– Luke 10:30-37; 9:1-6
