  1. Statistics Project Statistics Project Due April 1st, 2011 • Find one other person to share this project with. • The project is worth one test score (100 points). • Use the Homework and Test data to create statistical information as outlined below. • Represent your statistics on a poster to be shared with the class. Type your data analysis to receive full presentation points.

  2. Project Details • Create two Stem and Leaf Plots, one for test data and one for homework data. (10 points) • Calculate the Mean, Median and Mode for both the test and homework data (10 points) • By class • By overall test data • By overall homework data • Create a Box and Whisker Plot to represent the test data only. (10 points) • Create a Histogram comparing all test data to all homework data. (10 points) • Create Circle Graphs to represent the test data by class. (10 points) • Use Data Analysis to answer the following scenarios; you must explain your reasoning and refer to which statistical model above supports your reasoning. • Does the data show any connection between homework scores and test scores? (10 points) • If you were the teacher, what data would you use to represent you were doing a good job teaching? (10 points) • If you were the teacher and had to nominate one class for a school award based on homework completion, which class would it be? (10 points) • Summarize your overall data and what it represents for you. (10 points) • Present all information in an organized and professional manner. (10 points)
