  1. Mobius Young Climate Leaders for Himalayan Development (MYCL) Programme

  2. Mobius Foundation is proud to announce the launch of the Mobius Young Climate Leaders for Himalayan Development (MYCL) programme, a ground-breaking initiative aimed at addressing the pressing need for sustainability education among youths of North-East India. The programme will be officially launched on June 12, 2023, in Dimapur, Nagaland, and will focus on empowering young individuals to take better care of the invaluable resources, particularly in the ecologically sensitive Himalayan region.

  3. The MYCL programme aims to train and equip 18 exceptional climate leaders who will play a vital role in imparting the customized PaniPahar Curriculum developed by University of Cambridge across all grades in 15 selected schools in Dimapur. This curriculum has been specially designed to raise awareness and enhance knowledge about climate change and environmentally sustainability among youths. This programme is made possible through the collaborative efforts of several esteemed partners. The Climate Studies and Knowledge Solution Centre in Dimapur, along with YouthNet, Hearth Education, and the Government of Nagaland, who have partnered with Mobius Foundation to bring this initiative to life. Their combined expertise and commitment to environmental conservation will greatly contribute to the success of the program and its long-term impact.

  4. The programme also marks the entry of Mobius Foundationinto the ecologically sensitive northeast region of India and is a significant milestone in the organization’s ongoing mission to create a positive environmental footprint across the country. The launch event on June 12, 2023, in Dimapur will serve as a platform to showcase the program’s objectives, introduce the passionate individuals involved, and inspire others to join the movement for climate action. The event will feature distinguished speakers, interactive sessions, and an opportunity for participants to engage with the PaniPahar Curriculum firsthand.
