  1. CVR Now Offers NMVTIS Inquiry Service to all CVR Clients CVR is now integrated with the National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS) to provide you with NMVTIS Vehicle History Reports through your existing CVR account NMVTIS Inquiry through CVR quickly provides a concise report of: • Title history • Odometer history • Branding history • Total loss and salvage information At only $2.00 per inquiry, an NMVTIS report from CVR is a great tool for your Used Car Manager to use during the appraisal process, as it provides a low cost initial screening that can help limit risk before purchasing or taking a used car in on trade. Using CVR’s NMVTIS inquiry helps you gain more knowledge about the cars you are appraising and avoid potential headaches as well as liability down the road. CVR’s NMVTIS Inquiry Service is easy to sign up for, simple to use, low cost, and requires no separate billing.  Access the service through your existing CVR application, or via select internet browsers. When you and your team are ready to incorporate NMVTIS reports into your Used Car appraisal process, simply direct one of your CVR users to sign up. The agreement can be completed electronically by logging in to the CVR software, choosing “CVR SUPPORT” from the Help menu, clicking on the NMVTIS link, and then following the prompts. NMVTIS is the only vehicle history database in the nation to which all state motor vehicle agencies, insurance carriers, junk and salvage yards, dismantlers and metal recyclers are required by federal law to report information. To learn more about NMVTIS from CVR, please call 800.333.6995 or visit cvrweb.com/NMVTIS
