  5. Niche • An organisms particular role in an ecosystem, or how it makes its living.

  6. Habitat • The place where an organism lives and that provides the organisms needs such as food, water, shelter, and space.

  7. Keystone Species • A species that influences the survival of many other species in an ecosystem

  8. Endangered Species • A species at risk of becoming extinct in the near future

  9. Threatened Species • A species that could become endangered in the near future.

  10. Sustainability • When an ecosystem can support itself without any outside help or influence.
