  1. Joh 14:1 "Don't let yourselves be disturbed. Trust in God and trust in me. Joh 14:2 In my Father's house are many places to live. If there weren't, I would have told you; because I am going there to prepare a place for you. Joh 14:3 Since I am going and preparing a place for you, I will return to take you with me; so that where I am, you may be also. Joh 14:4 Furthermore, you know where I'm going; and you know the way there." Adonai’s Fall Holy Days

  2. Before we get to 3 – 1 – 3 Pesach-Hag Matzah-Bikkurim Shavuot Yom Teruah-Yom Kippur-Sukkot Adonai’s Fall Holy Days

  3. What is Elul? "Elul" is the Sixth Month of the year, counting from "Nisan," called in the Chumash, "the first month.“ Like the names of the other months of the Hebrew Calendar, "Elul came up", or "returned with," those Jews who returned to Israel from the 70-year Exile in Babylonia. The expression "returned with" is particularly significant in this case in that this is the month of "Return to Hashem," or "Repentance." Elul is the name of the month which we are given each year to prepare for the "Days of Awe:" Adonai’s Fall Holy Days

  4. Psa 81:1 [For the Leader. On the gittit. By Asaf:] Sing for joy to God our strength! Shout to the God of Ya`akov! Psa 81:2 Start the music! Beat the drum! Play the sweet lyre and the lute! Psa 81:3 Sound the shofarat Rosh-Hodesh and at full moon for the pilgrim feast, Psa 81:4 because this is a law for Isra'el, a ruling of the God of Ya`akov. Adonai’s Fall Holy Days

  5. The name Elul is said to be an acronym of anil'dodiv'dodili, "I am my Beloved's and my Beloved is mine," a quote from Song of Solomon 6:3, where the Beloved is the LORD and the "I" is the Kallat Mashiach, the Bride of Messiah: Adonai’s Fall Holy Days

  6. The sixth month Luk 1:25 "Adonai has done this for me; he has shown me favor at this time, so as to remove my public disgrace." Luk 1:26 In the sixth month, the angel Gavri'el was sent by God to a city in the Galil called Natzeret, Luk 1:27 to a virgin engaged to a man named Yosef, of the house of David; the virgin's name was Miryam. Luk 1:28 Approaching her, the angel said, "Shalom, favored lady! Adonai is with you!" Luk 1:29 She was deeply troubled by his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. Luk 1:30 The angel said to her, "Don't be afraid, Miryam, for you have found favor with God. Luk 1:31 Look! You will become pregnant, you will give birth to a son, and you are to name him Yeshua. Luk 1:32 He will be great, he will be called Son of Ha`Elyon. Adonai, God, will give him the throne of his forefather David; Luk 1:33 and he will rule the House of Ya`akov forever — there will be no end to his Kingdom." Luk 1:34 "How can this be," asked Miryam of the angel, "since I am a virgin?" Luk 1:35 The angel answered her, "The Ruach HaKodesh will come over you, the power of Ha`Elyon will cover you. Therefore the holy child born to you will be called the Son of God. Adonai’s Fall Holy Days

  7. The sixth month A Month to “TESHUVAH” Teshuvah is the Hebrew word assigned to the 40 days preceding Yom Kippur, the Day of the Covering or Atonement. Originally, it only comprised the 10 days between Yom Teruah and Yom Kippur (Days of Awe). But Jewish tradition extended this time of repentance that all might come to the place of salvation. Adonai’s Fall Holy Days

  8. The sixth month A Month to “TESHUVAH” Look at the Hebrew: Teshuvah - The root word is the Hebrew "shoov" which means to return. It combines both aspects of forgiveness: turning from evil and turning toward good. The Jews make restitution during this period with those they have offended. Ridding oneself of guilt is a goal of Teshuvah. Repentance, however, only applies to trans- gressions committed against God. To receive forgiveness from offenses committed against fellow man, compensation must be made and a plea for forgiveness. Adonai’s Fall Holy Days

  9. The sixth month A Month to “TESHUVAH” Psalm 27 is recited daily throughout the month of Elul, along with other prayers called Selichot. (READ PSALM 27:1-5) According to the Midrashim (oral Torah), Psalm 27:1 "The Lord is my Light" refers to the festival of Yom Teruah. "And my salvation" refers to H3468 ישׁע / ישׁעyesha‛ / yêsha‛. Verse 5, "For He will hide me in this tent" refers to the Feast of Sukkot or Tabernacles. (READ all of 27) Adonai’s Fall Holy Days

  10. The sixth month 40 days of “TESHUVAH” Beginning on the first day of Elul until the Day of Yom Kippur, Tishri 10, the Shofar blows every day as a warning to "return to God in repentance." With warning comes impending judgment. The 10 days between Yom Teruah and Yom Kippur represent the Tribulation on the Earth that will purge the Earth of evil. If you count only the days from the close of Yom Teruah until the beginning of Yom Kippur, they total seven--the number of years in the Tribulation itself. This is called the "Time of Jacob’s Trouble," and the "Days of Awe," and will be a time such has never been seen on the earth. Adonai’s Fall Holy Days

  11. The sixth month 40 days of “TESHUVAH” warnings of judgment call for "Teshuvah" come from the mouths of the prophets: Jer 3:12 Go and proclaim these words toward the north: ' "Return “TESHUVAH”, backsliding Isra'el," says Adonai. "I will not frown on you, for I am merciful," says Adonai. "I will not bear a grudge forever. Jer 3:13 Only acknowledge your guilt, that you have committed crimes against Adonai your God, that you were promiscuous with strangers under every green tree, and that you have not paid attention to my voice," says Adonai. Jer 3:14 "Return “TESHUVAH” , backsliding children," says Adonai; "for I am your master. I will take you, one from a city, two from a family, and bring you to Tziyon. Jer 3:15 I will give you shepherds after my own heart, and they will feed you with knowledge and understanding." Adonai’s Fall Holy Days

  12. The sixth month 40 days of “TESHUVAH” warnings of judgment call for "Teshuvah" come from the mouths of the prophets: Joe 2:1 "Blow the shofar in Tziyon! Sound an alarm on my holy mountain!" Let all living in the land tremble, for the Day of Adonai is coming! It's upon us! — Joe 2:12 "Yet even now," says Adonai, "turn “TESHUVAH” to me with all your heart, with fasting, weeping and lamenting." Joe 2:13 Tear your heart, not your garments; and turn to Adonai your God. For he is merciful and compassionate, slow to anger, rich in grace, and willing to change his mind about disaster. Adonai’s Fall Holy Days

  13. The sixth month 40 days of “TESHUVAH” FROM THE PROPHET HOSEA"Come and let us return to the Lord (Teshuvah); For He has torn but he will heal us..." (Hosea 6:1) FROM THE PROPHET EZEKIEL "Thus says the Lord God, ‘Repent, turn away (Teshuvah) from your idols and turn your faces (Teshuvah) away from all your abominations." (Ezekiel 14:6) FROM THE PROPHET ZECHARIAH"Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Return to Me (Teshuvah) and I will return to you (God makes Teshuvah)...Do not be like your fathers to whom the former prophets preached saying, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: Turn now from your evil ways (Teshuvah) and from your evil deeds.’ But they did not hear nor did they heed Me, says the Lord." (Zechariah 1:3-4) Adonai’s Fall Holy Days

  14. The sixth month 40 days of “TESHUVAH” FROM THE PROPHET JOHN, THE BAPTIST"...Repent (Teshuvah), for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." (Matthew 3:2)Not only was this during the time of Teshuvah, but from his very words, we can know this was the eve of Yom Kippur. It was the final call for repentance before the Day of the Covering of sin (Yom Kippur).FROM THE APOSTLE PETER (Shimon Kiefa) Act 3:19 "Therefore, repent “TESHUVAH” and turn to God, so that your sins may be erased; Adonai’s Fall Holy Days

  15. The sixth month 40 days of “TESHUVAH” The Four Steps of Repentance Teshuvah (Return, or Repentance) is a generous gift from God, which allows us to erase our improper actions through a four-step process (see below). The Torah tells us that no matter how far we stray or how many times we sin, God will wait for us to return to him through Teshuvah. There are four basic parts to Teshuvah:1. Leaving the Sin2. Regret3. Confession Before G-d4. Acceptance for the Future Adonai’s Fall Holy Days

  16. 1. Leaving the SinLeaving the sin consists of stopping the commission of the sinful act. One cannot do Teshuvah if one continues to do the sin, even if he or she were to perform the next three steps perfectly. 2. RegretRegret consists in sincerely regretting one's wrong action. One must be genuinely ashamed and embarrassed over one's sins. 3. Confession Before GodAcceptance for the future consists of resolving in one's heart never to commit the sin ever again. 4. Acceptance for the Future Confession before God consists of an oral confession spoken out loud, in which one formulates in words the commitments and attitudes one has reached in his or her heart. One should say, "I have sinned, I have done such and such; I deeply regret my actions, and I declare before God, Who knows my innermost thoughts, that I will never do this sin again."
