Steve Jobs bibliography Part I 1955 Steve job was born on February 24 in San Francisco to Joanne Simpson and Abdulfattah Jandalion February 24 On the same year Steve Jobs was adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs 1972: Graduates from high school and enrolled at Reed only later to drops out after a semester.   5. 1985: Jobs was fired from Apple Jobs resigns and took five Apple employees with him, one of which was Wozniak. 1986: Jobs starts Next Inc., a new computer company making high-end machines for universities. He also acquires Pixar which was later renamed Pixar Animation Studios.

  9. 2004: Jobs undergoes surgery for a rare form of pancreatic cancer. It was not fatal and was curable 2005: Apples release a tiny Nano and an iPod that can play video. Apple also announced that future Mac will be powered by Intel chips.

  10. 2007:Jobs announces the iPhone, one of the first smartphones without a keyboard, at Macworld Expo. The iPhone had revolutionized phones to come and has gradually increase from 2007 till this very day

  12. January 17, 2011: Jobs announces a second medical leave. COO Tim Cook took charge to run day-o-day operations. Jobs continue as CEO and still will be involved in major decisions. August 24, 2011: Jobs announces he is stepping aside as CEO, with Tim Cook taking over the position.

  13. In October 5, 2011 Steve Jobs died. we cannot say how much Steve Jobs had done for society but his legacy will live on. Steve Jobs was a man that had and will leave a mark on technology. He was an ordinary man with an extraordinary mind. This is why I say thank you Steve Jobs. Maybe one day we can have a Idesign to help make us graphic designers lives simpler.
