  1. Benefits of performance testing services

  2. Before launching a web application, it is important that it is tested on different parameters. There are several tests that are conducted on the application to check it for technology, user experience, business compliance, efficacy etc. • This is important because by conducting these tests a tester can identify how well the web application is performing and how it will impact the target group. This kind of testing service is called performance testing service.

  3. Performance testing consists of functional and non functional testing. • Functional testing is conducted to check the application for its compliance of business specifications. This is done as per a specification sheet that is prepared beforehand. Some of the functional tests include unit testing, smoke testing, sanity testing, integration testing, interface testing etc. • Non functional testing on the other hand tests the non functional requirements of the system. It checks the web application for its user readiness. This test is quite important as it helps you judge how your customer experience will be in terms of ease of use and responsiveness. • Non functional tests include availability testing, baseline testing, compliance testing, compatibility testing, documentation testing etc. hence, both functional and non functional testing is equally important.

  4. Performance tests are an integral part of ensuring web application success. Load testing, unit testing, integration testing are all part of performance tests. • Through load testing, a tester checks the web applications response to different types of workload situations. • Unit testing involves testing of all units in the system one by one to check for integration and performance.

  5. Integration tests check the integration of different units with the system. This is done to ensure seamless blending of all units into one so that the functions perform well as a single unit. While developing a web application, several programmers work together. • This can cause differences in functioning of the system and through integration tests; the application is tested for glitches. These glitches are then fixed to ensure smooth functioning. There are several types of integration tests such as spike testing, configuration testing, endurance testing etc. • Spike testing is a kind of load testing, which checks the web applications behaviour when a spike in the workload is induced. If you are an online business owner, you should consider lifecycle insurance for your web application prior to launch. This will help you ensuring greater consumer experience and reaping in greater profits.
