3. Limitations of old systems, Technology dates to the 1970s!
Difficult to maintain or respond to today’s issues
Doesn’t track students very well
Relies on SSN
Doesn’t integrate data (faculty, courses, students)
Doesn’t identify courses
Therefore, can’t view student success from an “academic” perspective
4. Limitations continued, Omits some instructional activity
Many late starting courses not reported
Many remedial/developmental courses not reported
