  7. Step-By-Step All you have to do is watch the Blog (http://blogs.lib.luc.edu/23things) and complete each step as it is posted. You will be going through the steps as they are listed and at the rate of 2 per week.

  8. Jump Around With this method, you should do steps 1-3 first (this way you will create your blog and be enrolled in the program), then move around the remaining steps as you wish. Caveat: to successfully complete the program and get the prizes, you must complete all 23 steps.

  9. What does each “Thing” contain? Each “thing” has the purpose of introducing you to a Web 2.0 tool or aspect of the tool. Basic Advanced Further Readings

Sign Up for a Blog account Let Chulin know you are participating so he can create a Blog for you and add you to the participants list Complete the Basic component of each “Thing” Blog about your Experiences with Things 3-23 Participate in the discussion

How much Time will I have? • Start Now - End by Monday, March 16, 2009 • This program will take different people different amounts of time, according to: • how familiar you are with this kind of stuff • how quickly you learn new things • how motivated you are • whether it matches your leaning style • so it is hard to say “this will take exactly an hour per week”.

  13. Group Study Option • For those interested in working in groups, we will have a group meeting. These groups will be run by Susan/ Chulin, and some other ETC members. Dates and places will be set up depending on who is interested and when they are free.
