Confirmation Of Arrival For Deliveries Business Requirement Address the recent legislation requesting companies to have a Confirmation Of Arrival or Proof of Export in order to justify that the zero rate VAT can be applied to intra-community and Export (non-EU) deliveries . The confirmation of arrival should also contain the date and time of arrival to enable the delivery on time reporting. Key Business Driver • Address a legal requirement. • Supply chain performance KPI. Capturing the time and date of the delivery for “on-time” delivery report. Functional Solution • Enhance the standard SAP Idocinterface to capture that a “Confirmation Of Arrival” exist for a delivery • Capture the actual arrival date and time of a delivery.

  3. Functional Solution • Data will be stored in the standard SAP outbound delivery tables. No ztable to be used. • The program will use the standard IdocDELVRY01 • Enhance the program IDOC_INPUT_DELVRY to read and update the confirmation of arrival into the delivery. • No zsegments used. • Confirmation of arrival can be displayed via the standard SAP transaction VL03N.
