  2. 1) What are the four areas of horticulture? • Horticulture- Cultivation of plants and Vegetables • Floriculture- Flowers (cut flowers, bedding plants, foilage plants, potted pplants) • Olericulture- Vegetables • Ornamental Horticulture- plants grown for their beauty ( annuals, perennials, shrubs, ground cover, landscaping) • Pomology- fruit and nuts
