  5. Academic Japanese To like: このむ How: どう Noun: さけ Kody: “おさけはどうですか。” (How do you like sake?) ume: “おいしい　です。おさけを　このみます。” (It is tasty. I like sake.)

  6. Conversational Japanese • … が　すき　です。 • I like … • sake Kody: “おさけ　はどうですか。” (How do you like sake?) aya: “おいしい　です。おさけがすき　です。” (It is tasty. I like sake.)

  7. Q & A • Negative affirmative is, that you add jyanai before desu(i.e., sukijyanaidesu = I don’t like). • Let’s stick to the conversational Japanese
