The meaning of the name Eleanor is sense and sensibility. • She was not the most liked at her time, most people saw her as ignorant and self oriented. • She hade 2 sons, one named Arthur and the other John. The Meaning You may want to know why I'm telling you about Queen Eleanor, I'm telling you this because she was Queen at the time the book is illustrated, but yet, she didn’t have a daughter, so Catherin was just a made up character.
