  2. Who are we, why are we here? • One friend from each of 6 of the London AMs • Not nominated – not particularly representing or reporting to our own AM • Met three times since Christmas

  3. What is the problem we were trying to solve? • [BO’S to add]

What is our proposed solution? • One pan London Charity with one trustee body; • Taking on the existing functions of LQPT; and • Responsible for Charity Commission compliance, other legal requirements and administrative obligations (e.g. accountancy and bookkeeping / safeguarding / fire safety / employment of staff / data protection / property maintenance); • 7 “Area Meetings”, as now, focussing on worship and witness, community building and outreach, discernment on issues of national importance to Friends; • POSSIBLY: Yearly / Twice Yearly “Annual General Meeting” for all Quakers across London for discernment on substantial or strategic issues
