Insight Enterprise Reporting:Current Accomplishments & Activities Deployment • Build 1 of the solution deployed to the first wave of users on June 3, 2013 • System access was provided for users as they completed training in May/June Requirements • Updated FRDs based on testing results/defect resolution process • Beginning requirements gathering for Insight’s next release • Holding requirements gathering workshop with the Insight RWG in July Security • Implementing access provisioning processes for deployment • Worked with ASOs to provision access for in-person training participants Technical Build • Finalized development of Build 1 standard reports and dashboards • Loaded data in production environment; validated for deployment readiness • Updated Insight data dictionary with Build 1 information (ongoing) Testing • Resolved defects identified during the testing phase in preparation for launch • Tested the production environment to ensure data accessibility based on role Outreach • Facilitated in-person training in May/June and launched web training in July • Updated website with latest project information and downloadable resources • Launched Customer Reporting survey in July • Developing an Insight Forum for customer communication and collaboration

Insight Enterprise Reporting:Adopting Insight • Complete web-based training modules on the Insight website or in-person training sessions available per NFC’s standard training course schedule • Request production access from your ASO • Use Insight to access all PPS data, ABCO data, and selected TMGT tables • Contact the NFC Contact Center at 1-855-NFC-4GOV (1-855-632-4468) with all questions and inquiries on the functionality of the tool • Continue to send all project-related questions and feedback to Enterprise.Reporting@nfc.usda.gov • Build 1 Data Sources: • All PPS Data: • PAYPERS • PERHIS • PAYTA • ABCO Data • Selected TMGT tables Start using Insight and provide feedback!

  4. Insight Enterprise Reporting:InsightProduction Access New users should request access from their ASOs. Access will be granted following NFC’s standard provisioning process. How to Access Insight: • System Access: • Insight application link is accessible through application launch pad on NFC homepage • User ID and Password: • Insightuser ID is the same as user’s NFC mainframe ID (typed in all caps) • Users should work with their ASOs to complete the Insight access form • After submission of form, NFC’s Access Management Branch will contact users’ ASOs with new passwords • ASOs will distribute passwords to users

  5. Build 2 OverviewSummary Insight’s next release, Build 2, is targeted to launch in Winter 2013. The planned scope of the Build 2 release includes: NFC will be working closely with the Insight Reporting Working Group (RWG) to complete the Build 2 requirements gathering process: • Build 2 Scope • Enhancements to existing reports and dashboards • New data sources (i.e. PMSO, EmpowHR) • New reports and dashboards from both existing and new data sources
