Various • 12 – 14 Nov: Trigger upgrade EDR • Ambitious and short on time to get it all done • 15 Nov: HCAL Run-2 readiness review • Apparently had some issues not everyone was aware of… • Control room progress • Date now settled for changeover (May 2014) • Magnitude of issues I have to deal with is shrinking: e.g., where will the outlets be? how is the carpet going to be changed? Etc. • Need to make sure underground control room can be used for subsystem commissioning (while upstairs being worked on) • Counting central shift credits for 2014 • ~19 weeks of global runs scheduled for 2014 • Three alignment cosmic runs at B=0T and B=3.8T, one Pre-Collisions Cosmic Challenge (PCCC) in Nov-Dec, several Mid-Week Global Runs… G.
