  3. EXPLAINING THE DEMONSTRATIONS A. We will be giving 2 demos of “How to ask for Contacts” in the following order: 1. Modeler on the Phone Reading the Calling Blurb: The contact says, “No, I cannot give you an appointment.”YOU ASK FOR CONTACTS 2. From Memory at the Appointment: The contact says “I will like to pray about this with my spouse before giving my response.” YOU ASK FOR CONTACTS B.Explain who plays what role in the Demonstration? IMAGINE THE DEMONSTRATION IS A REAL A LIFE SITUATION.

  4. DEMO OF ASKING FOR CONTACTS ON THE PHONE Imagine the modeler had already read the Calling for Appointment Blurb to the contact. The demonstration will start from the paragraph before “After Setting The Appointment Time, Say” (in the blurb). • We will Sit with our chairs back to back. • We will have our phones to our ears. • See if we read it naturally and with enthusiasm • See if the modeler remembers to smile as he reads • Take out your “Calling for appt Blurb” and see how we transition to ask for contacts. • After each Demo, we will ask you if you have any questions or observations.

DRILL OF ASKING FOR CONTACTS ON THE PHONE Before the Drill • Pair up for the Drill (I.e. 2X2 practice)-Husband and wife should not be together • Take 2 minutes each to review the “If they don’t want an appointment with you say” section of the “Calling for Appt. Blurb” 4 times. • Read it : (a) Out loud (b) Naturally (c) with enthusiasm (d) while smiling.

  6. How to do the Drill of ASKING FOR CONTACTS ON THE PHONE: Imagine you have already read the calling blurb to the contact. The drill will start from the paragraph before “After Setting The Appointment Time, Say” • Sit with your chairs back to back. • Have your phones to your ears. • Use your “Calling for appt blurb” and transition to ask for contacts. • Read it naturally and with enthusiasm. • Remember to smile as you read. • The Support Coaches will tell you when to switch roles.

  7. DEMO OF ASKING FOR CONTACTS AT AN APPT Imagine the modeler has shared the album, and has challenged the potential partner already. The demonstration will start from the Potential Partner saying “I would like to pray about this before giving my response.” • We will Sit face to face. • The Modeler will present the need for contacts naturally and enthusiastically. • After each Demo, we will ask you if you have any questions or observations. • Take out the article “Asking for contacts: The Best Wording.” Follow point A in this lesson as we do the demo.

  10.  ACTION POINTS: Practice asking for contacts using the wording in the article “Asking for Contact : the best wording” naturally and with enthusiasm while smiling. Memorize the wording in point A, paragraph 1-3 of “Asking for contacts : the best wording”. Write it on a 3x5 card and review it for 5 minutes each day.
