  2. Determine the style of the play. The style can be divided into:

  5. Non-realistic non-realistic plays contain characters, events, and scenery that are exaggerated to the extent that they depart from real life.

  8. The Fourth Wall Is the invisible wall that extends between stage and audience and that establishes the fourth side of the set.

  18. The audience enjoys the hero’s antics and minor catastrophes, knowing in the end, the hero will solve his/her problem successfully.

  30. When you have completed the analysis, turn to your character and his relationship to that play.

  31. Decide his/her place in the conflict. • Is he on the side of the protagonist or antagonist?

  32. You should explain in your analysis who is the protagonist and antagonist even if your character is not one of them
