Idealized Influence • Steve Jobs was seen by the world as a visionary • He was described by those he worked with as a hands on, intense and a perfectionist of sorts • This was inspiring to those he worked with to reach beyond the typical and create new, profound ideas. • He was able to bring out the absolute best in the people he worked with

3. Inspirational Motivation During my time writing this blog, I have become obsessed with listening to and reading the great speeches of the great leaders throughout history and Steve Jobs has quite possibly been the man to inspire me the most. He has such a talent for empowering his listeners. "My job is not to be easy on people. My job is to make them better."

4. Intellectual Stimulation • If one word had to be associated with Steve Jobs, there would be no contest. Innovator. • He took his business of personalized computers and created a new industry of multiple different computerized creations. • iPads, iPods, iPhones, iHomes. All of these creations have been groundbreaking developments that have shaped the industry today.

5. Individualized Consideration "Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower." ("The Innovation Secrets of Steve Jobs," 2001) Steve Jobs encouraged growth and innovation to everyone he worked with. He idolized thinkers and risk takers throughout history and I believe that he will go down in history as one of the foremost leaders that held these traits.
