Career (Apple) • 1976 Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne co-founded Apple • 1983 Jobs lured John Sculley (former Pepsi worker) • May of 1985 announced layoffs • Sculley relieved Jobs of duties • Admitted leaving Apple best thing happened that to him "Do you want to sell sugar water for the rest of your life, or do you want to come with me and change the world?” – Steve Jobs

  4. Career (NeXT Computer) • Founded in 1985 • Ross Perot invested in NeXT Computer • 1990 NeXT workstations released • NeXT cubes released 1990 • First interpersonal computer • Shared voice, images, and video in email • 1993 fully software development
