North Central Conference Stats UND’s Defensive Ranking for the past 13 seasons. Defensive Points Allowed (Scoring Defense): 1992 – 1st1993 – 1st1994 – 1st 1995 –3rd1996 – 1st 1997 – 3rd 1998 – 1st1999 – 1st 2000 – 3rd 2001 – 1st 2002 – 3rd 2003 – 2nd 2004 – 1st (also #1 Scoring Defense in Nation) Eight 1st place finishes, never lower than 3rd!

University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux Football LINEBACKER U. • In the last 16 years UND has had • 18 ILB All-Conference* selections (13 First Team selections) • 14 OLB All-Conference* selections (9 First Team selections) • * Does not include Honorable Mention selections • In the last 13 years UND has had • 11 different players earn All-America honors at the linebacker • position including a phenomenal six First Team selections. • In the last nine years UND has had • the North Central Conference Most Valuable Linebacker FOUR times!!
