  3. The story prologue also mentions he is riding a bad horse, but is called a “sweet priest” A priest in the 13 century was likely to be away with the nuns, and they wouldn’t really go out. They were supposed to live very humble lives. The nun’s priest

  4. This tale is told after the monks tale. Monk’s tale was a downer, Knight congratulates him on the tale but wants something happier, monk refuses to tell another story so the host chooses the nun’s priest. The host enjoys the tale and suggests that the priest would be good for breeding but too bad he can’t basically. Order

  5. The story is amusing as well as moral. It uses the animals to represent people. The moral of the story is to never let flattery fool you. Moral
