  2. Create an account • Go to www.storybird.com • Click “sign up for free” • Choose educator/teacher option • Fill out username, email and password • Click “create an account” 2

  5. Choose a picture set • Hit “create” • Choose a picture by browsing or searching a specific topic • Press “use this art” • Decide if you will be using this art for a poem, picture book or multi-chapter book 5

  8. Start Writing! • Drag pictures from the side bars to the paper seen on the screen • Click the text box and start writing! • Click the plus button on the bottom right to add another page 8

  10. Create Cover Page • When you are done writing click on the first blank page where your story pages are on the bottom of the screen • Drag image and write the Title and author of your story 10

Save & Publish • Click the save button on the bottom left of the screen to save your work • Click menu to the left of the save button • Click the second tab down, “publish” • Scroll to the bottom of the screen and decide if you want your book to be public or private and click publish again 11

  13. Share your story! • On bottom right click the button that has three dots connecting • A link will show up that you can copy and paste • You can also send it via email • If you made a public story you can share it via social media! 13
