  7. The Protestant Church in Hitler's Germany  Origins of the Protestant Church: • 16th Century – People not happy with the Roman Catholic Church. • Martin Luther creates Protestant Church. • Start of the Reformation.

  8. Hitler and theProtestantChurch 1933 – Hitler becomes Germany`s dictator. Many German Christians saw him like a saviour, a miracle of God. A group of German Christians thought that they needed to unify all 27 Protestant churches in Germany.

  9. Thesepeoplewanted a single nationalchurchwithonenationalbishop. Hitler asked Ludwig Müllertohelpwiththeunion of allthoseProtestantChurches. He created a single “Protestant Reich Church” and becametheNationalBishop.

This new church had new rules: • They had to be politically reliable. • They had to accept the superiority of the Aryan Race • They had to expel Jewish Christians. • They had to adopt the Nazi Fuhrer principle. • They had to accept Hitler as lord over the German Church. • They had to understand that Christ and Christianity were uniquely Aryan.

  11. Lebensborn What is lebensborn? Lebensobrn was the spring of life. This was one of the most terrific and secret nazyproject. This project was created by Heinrich Himmler (head of the ss) the 12 of December 1935 Daniela Cisneros

  12. Lebensbornproject .This horrible project consist on give the options to young girls to give births in a secret way. Then that kid was taken by the ss. They were in charge of there education and adoptation . Lebensborn were houses were kids were created after they born. . Women were force to had sex with the SS officers

  13. Lebensborn conditions -If woman wanted to participate they need to prove her Aryan background (white people). They have to pass racial purity test. -Babys only leave with there mum only for 3 month then the SS took them to this place. -They were very specials women (mothers) had to have blond hair and blue eyes, they also had to measure 1.60 meters and fathers minimum height was 1.75 meters.   20. The confessing church was created for…? Hitler made Jews confess everyday and it cost so he earned money. Protestants wanted it. Because german pastors were in disagreement with germanchristians.
