  3. Drop Off Begins At: 7:30 • Classes begin at 7:55 • Dismissal is 3:20 (Friday: 2:20) • There are 3 pick up • options: • Bus • Car • Porch Pick-up

  4. Attendance Policy • No student can miss more than 18 days, excused or unexcused. • Any child who has 3 unexcused days of absence or parts of days within a 4 week period, or 10 unexcused days of absence or parts of days within a 6 month period are considered truant. • Three parent excuse notes per semester are accepted. Excused absences are those caused by illness or death in the family.

  5. Tardy Policy Students must be in class by 7:55 a.m. 6 Tardies = An unexcused absence and an after school detention. If a student has served detention for tardies and continues to be tardy, they will have to come to Saturday School for every 6 tardies received.

  6. I use a number chart system in my room. Please check your child’s folder on Monday for my behavior plan. Read over the plan, sign the form and return it as soon as possible.

  7. Class Rules 1. Listen to the teacher. 2. Make good choices. 3. Follow directions. 4. Be respectful, responsible, and safe. 5. Be honest and kind.

  8. Consequences Warning Move Number to Yellow and miss 1 entire recess. Move Clip to Red and Parent Contact

  9. Check out your weekly newsletter, to see what we are learning about in Math, Reading and Language Arts.

  10. Daily: • Spelling • Fluency and High Frequency (Sight Word) Practice • Read Library/AR Book • Math Packets – Sent home on Monday and are due on Friday.

  11. Mon: Art Tues: PE & Computer/Guidance Wed: PE Thurs: PE Fri: Library

  12. Grades Progress Reports are sent home every 3 weeks. Report Cards are sent out every 6 weeks. You can check your child’s grades online anytime.
