  8. Mt.15:18-19 • It’s easy to avoid lawless acts: • Against the law • Fear getting caught, punished • This safeguard breaks down if we give sin its way. E.g.: 1 Sm.13:14 • A kindred spirit; one who agrees… • 2 Sm.11-12 [Mt.15] • Ps. 51:10
