Understanding Heel Spurs

Heel spurs can be painful, but many people can go without any pain, not realizing that they have a problem. These are caused by calcium deposits which can be seen clearly on x-rays. Heel spurs are usually associated with planter fascitis, which is a painful inflammatory condition which can be felt at the back or below the heel.<br>
