  3. Introduction • What is Training Needs Analysis (TNA)? • Process - the company identifies training and development needs of its employees so that they can do their job effectively. • Involves looking at training needs required at various levels of the organisation

  4. Training Needs Analysis What’s the Point? • Avoids training for ‘training sake’ • Supports cost effective training • Targets areas of greatest need – identifies areas for development • Commitment from managers and staff.
