  2. Initiative set up by Banque de France and National Bank of Belgium • nework seeks to : • improve contacts between moneymuseums in the escb countries • exchange experience and ideas Informal working group, open to any central bank who wants to join on voluntary basis

  3. Agenda of 1st meeting • Presentations of : • NBB’s Museum followed by guided tour • presentation of the Museum of the Bank of Finland • presentation of the Bundesbank’s Money Museum Questions Work programme

  4. Presentations followed by questions concerning (ao) • Various aspects of day-to-day management of the museums • Communication tools used to increase vistor numbers • Feedback by visitors • Programs for specific target groups • Means of interactivity other than audiovisuel or computere device • Accountability

  5. Work programme Meeting ended with discussion of the objetives, issues and organisation of the network Members agreed on number of points:

Meetings would have a central topic of common interest • One of objectives of network is exchange of information : therefore database with practial information of each museum will be set up • Meetings twice a year at invitation of and in premises of one of the central banks/money museums taking part in network • Volonteer money museum will act as secretariat for 1year / then another takes over(2010/nbb) • Next meeting on june 11 at the bank of england money museum .national bank of poland will host network in oct/nov
