  4. The charter of the committee is to create the position paper for the ASIA backbone to address the following issue: • Link to USA. There are a number of links to the USA presently. Could they be aggregated? • TEIN connection to ASIA. There might be another possibility for overland connection to Europe. • Distributed hops/hubs. There should be multiple hops that people could connect to in the region.cluster • IEEAF
