  2. Penguins live in Antarctica, Africa, Australia and South America. All penguins live between the Equator and the south Pole. All Penguins live on Islands, Coasts and on ice burgs in the sea. Where penguins live

  3. Penguins need to be near water because they spend most of their lives IN water. Penguins

  4. They have a sleek shape for speed. A layer of blubber keeps them warm. Penguins

  5. Their black backs make them hard to see from above. Penguins

  6. Their light bellies make them hard to see from above. Penguins

  7. Their solid flippers help them escape from their predators and get to where they want to go. Penguins

  8. Penguins can swim 15 miles an hour. When they want to go faster they leap out of the water as they swim its called porpoising. Penguins

  9. They have a hooked bill, or beak to help to help them grab fish. Penguins

  10. Would you like to have your dinner with a big cup of salty water? Penguins can take out the salty water that they caught their fish with. Penguins

  11. Most Penguins lay two baby eggs at a time but only one survives. Penguins

  12. When the baby is born the mother is gone gathering food and fish and all the dad eats is nothing but ice and snow. Penguins
